Back in 2016, I had a fan direct and create a music video for my song “Dream”. “Neb__Nation” uploaded the song to Youtube but it was soon deleted by Youtube. Not long after, the file was lost when his computer hard drive crashed and went bad but recently he retrieved the file and sent it to me. “Neb__Nation” on Instagram didn’t want any credit for the video and wants to remain anonymous in name. I love the video and I hope you all do as well !

“My music video is inspired by the theme of lost lovers whom are soul mates and their constant struggle in trying to find each other. I took inspirations from my “Dream” music video, from Georges Méliès in “The Kingdom of the Fairies”, from Jules Verne, and from Antoine de Saint-Exupéry’s in “The Little Prince”. In the video, I fly into the heavens on a hot air balloon motorcycle. The Hindu goddess Lakshmi and the Greek winged divine stallion Pegasus, among several zodiac signs, can be seen along the journey. Ultimately, it is the Greek sea goddess Amphitrite that leads me to my lost lover and soul mate. The entire music video was filmed in Miami, Florida and is directed and edited by me.” Patrick Doval

April 27, 2016:
I went into “the vault” recently to grab the master of my song “Pretty Girl” recorded when I was in high school.
I reworked the vocals and have decided to have the song on the new album.
This songs adds MORE diversity ( Lenny Kravitz inspired ) and I am excited about the prospects of including it on the album.
“Favorite Girl” is on the chopping block and most likely will not make the album.
Songs scheduled for release on the album ( in no particular order ): Crush, Dream, Sweet Misery, Sugarless Candy, Poison Ivy, Tonight, Lover, and Pretty Girl. There will be ONE or TWO more songs and the album will be finished ! 🙂

“Sweet Misery”…. one of my favorite songs from the upcoming album has been recorded….it’s 80% recorded…..I’ll mix and edit the song this week. I look forward to start filming the video for this song very soon…. The video idea came to me in a dream and it’s already been story-boarded….should be easy.
I will also do a live promotional video for “Sweet Misery” ( like I did for “Lover” ).

I am happy to report that “Sugarless Candy”, the first music video from the new album has finally been completed and rendered. 🙂 Unfortunately, I won’t be uploading the video just yet. The goal is to give a music blog an “exclusive” of the video. I will keep everyone updated and look forward to begin working on the next video soon.

“Sugarless Candy” is the first single from the new album. The video is about 60 % finished. I expect to finish the video sometime this week but may not release the video just yet 😉

Song # 6 “Dream” has been recorded. The song is currently being mixed & edited. I also started editing the first music video from the new album. The proposed release date of the first music video is March 23.

Song # 6 ( “Lover” ) was just written yesterday and was recorded today. It’s one of my favorite songs on the upcoming album. January will be busy – 3 performances are lined-up, more details later.
Dec. 23, 2015:
Song #5 ( “Crush” ) has just been recorded. The song will be mixed & edited by the end of the week. How many songs will the new album have ? Who knows ? I am going to continue to write and record songs and looking forward to a 2016 album release.

I wrote and recorded two new songs last week and mixed and edited the songs this week. Music videos are a must for both songs ! I intend to continue writing and recording throughout the summer and hopefully start filming a new video before summers end. Will these new songs lead to a new album ? I don’t know – but I’ll keep recording and keep you updated along the way.

Also, I have finally completed a new music video. It is based loosely on the 1933 film version of King Kong. Unlike videos from the past, I have to compose music for the video – like a movie soundtrack. The new video should be released within weeks. Stay tuned.
