2016 – Year In Review

First and foremost, I would like to wish everyone Seasons Greetings & Happy Holidays! 2016 has been a good year for me ! I started off 2016 by writing and recording “Obscured”. Soon after, I released my first ever single to radio, “Sugarless Candy” and it charted on the FMQB AC40 charts and climbed the charts for 14-straight weeks peeking at #27 & spending 20 weeks in the top 100. A huge accomplishment for having no press, and no industry backing. The radio promoters wanted to push 3-4 singles, but when you’re an unsigned artist with no investors, you can only push the product so far…it was the only radio single that I could afford, but nonetheless, it went beyond any expectations that I had.

2016 would not be complete without music videos. I managed to film two videos this year (“Sugarless Candy” & “Dream”) but there was something very special about “Dream”. It was an overwhelming success and it has quickly become a fan favorite, such success from the video, that I decided to sit the rest of the year on the sidelines to not take away attention from it.

I also spent the year performing for Robert Zuckerman ( http://www.robertzuckerman.com/) on several occasions. I performed at his Wonderism exhibit, other exhibitions and his open mic and I can’t thank him enough for being such a true inspiration, mentor and for always believing in me. He has changed my life and I am simply grateful for his kindness and friendship.

Looking forward to releasing more videos in 2017 ( “Crush” and “Lover” ) and begin to record new music as well. Also expect many more LIVE performances in the local Miami area, the best is yet to come ! Best wishes for all for 2017 !
